I am a student at Hofstra University and I depend on my
laptop more than anything else and I have all my school work, my pictures,
and my music. One day I tried to start my laptop and all I saw on my screen
was a blue screen and a bunch of zeros' and errors. After searching the web
for a few minutes on my dorm mate's pc, bigappletechs.com was my 4th phone
call. The first 3 companies told me that from the message on my laptop that
my hard drive has crashed, that I would have to bring the laptop into their
office and that they would have to ship the hard drive out to clean air lab
to recover my data. When I called bigappletechs.com the person that answered
the phone asked me 3 questions, made me read one line from the blue screen
message, told me to relax and that they could send a technician out to me in
2 hours and that they will be able to recover the data in my dorm room. 2
hours later a technician showed up, started working on my laptop,
immediately assured me that he would be able to get my data back for me.
After an hour I was told that all my data has been recovered to a different
hard drive, and I was told that my hard drive was making some funny noises
and that it should be replaced sooner than later. I told them that my laptop
was still under warranty at which time the technician started calling Dell
on my behalf and opened a case with Dell to get me a new hard drive and
instead of me waiting till Dell's hard drive arrived, bigappletechs.com gave
me a new hard drive installed it in my laptop, rebuild windows and restored
all my data back to it and I was back up like new. They send a messenger to
pickup the hard drive that Dell had shipped me as replacement 3 days later
to replace their new hard drive they had installed in my computer. I was up
and running in a matter of 3 hours and all in the comfort of my dorm room.
